You are who the devil sent to tame me
Loved the leashes and cuffs,
But not for your purposes.
I am sorry the cage was too small for me,
and everyday a revelation of how farther I move from your vision of me is shown.
I cry for me too,
but not for why you cry for me.
You are who the devil sent,
not for me to love,
but for you to torture.
And I swear it's more torture than I've ever endured.
To love you from afar seems our destiny,
I weep for the memories and dreams,
I weep for the ashes they now are!
You are who the devil sent,
to watch me crawl on the earth towards you,
for an iota of your love!
I seek around all your facets,
but why do you keep you hidden when I'm such an open sacrifice?
You are who the devil sent,
to show me my black soul,
tied to a cord only the devil can break.
And yet,
And yet everyday I move away from your vision of me,
And bless me if that's not the only rebellion I can show you
Believe me,
I loved moving to your music,
but not so much when it hurt to be this control-less
Believe me,
I loved the leashes and cuffs,
but not when from them there was only pain,
and not the sweet musk of your kisses
Believe me,
I loved the cage,
until I didn't.
You are who the devil sent,
and everyday he celebrates the torture I suffer under you!

In my poetry is my catharsis,
my attempt to personify my anger and pain;
not because I have no joy,
but because pain pulls at my pen more

Nice piece, I am experiencing almost the same situation.
I love your writing because it is real and from the heart
