Silence me

Zip my lips closed
Hold the words ‘fore they sneak out
Silence too loud,
demands my voice to muffle it
The shame, pain and dreams I hinder
Surround the air around us
Profusely the words pour
Swear you won’t judge me,
promise you won’t run
Don’t say a thing or you’ll make this worse
